Buchanan Technologies is currently in need of a Senior Sharepoint Consultant.

Work location city: Mississauga

Duration: Contract

Qualifications:

·         Minimum of eight years development experience in developing websites, applications, workflows, database schemas and/or business processes.

·         At least 5 years focused on SharePoint development

·         C# .NET 3.5

·         SharePoint 2007/2010 Workflows and Workflow customization

·         Windows Workflow Foundation

·         SharePoint 2010/2012 web parts

·         Experience customizing SharePoint Master pages and layouts

·         Basic web skills (e.g. HTML, CSS, javascript)

·         ASP.NET, XML Web Services

·         JQuery, or similar frameworks

·         SharePoint deployment and configuration

·         Strong work-ethic, self-motivated, focused, creative, enthusiastic

·         Works well in a team and independently

Essential Functions:

·         Design and develop SharePoint functionality according to business requirements

·         Debug SharePoint applications and workflows

·         Optimize and refactor SharePoint code

·         Additional .NET development as required

·         Produce documentation, user guides and appropriate work-flow diagrams

Nice to have skills:

·         SharePoint Designer 2010/2012

·         SharePoint 2012 Farm Administration and Architecture

·         Microsoft Team Foundation server

·         C# .NET 4.0/4.5

·         SQL Server 2005/2008

·         Microsoft Office tools

·         Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCTS)
